«Translation(s) III; Bodies In Transit» is a unique film presenting 9 artists’ perspectives on globalisation and the movement of people. The film explores some of the most topical issues today, including migration, immigration, and refugees, and asks us to consider our underlying common humanity.

The international artists explore the theme of «Bodies in Transit» through interdisiplinary video works. They reimaginine the flow of bodies across national and cultural barriers, as well as through more abstract interpretations. Featured artists include A4C (IT), Justin Ascott (UK), Damon Ayers & Tessie Word (US), Lynn Book (US), Jessica Ledwich (AU), Zoran Poposki (HK/MK), Chooc Ly Tan (FR/UK) and Tang Kwok-Hin (HK).

This video art project is curated by two European artists working in Hong Kong, Zoran Poposki and Laurence Wood, who will introduce the screening.

Run time: 37 minutes.

— The film screening will start with a welcoming Chinese Tea tasting experience led by local tea experts, Tea Mandala.

— As part of CFCCA's Thursday Late programme.

On the last Thursday of the month CFCCA stays open until 8pm offering an opportunity to drop in and enjoy an evening in the gallery, or participate in a series of unique events exploring different aspects of the exhibitions programme.
